Trek Wings

Now features 1050 ballistic Cordura Nylon for extra durability! Trek Wings (item number BC2060) provide up to 40 pounds/18 kg of lift. They are best suited for use with single cylinders of any size, and with lightweight to medium-weight double cylinders ("a shorter air cell for shorter cylinders"). Trek Wings can accommodate up to two 83-cubic-foot/13 litre back-mounted cylinders. A 27-inch/69 cm low-pressure inflator hose is standard.

Trek Wings include a gusset-control cord, similar to that found on Rec, Dual Rec, Super and SuperOne Wings. This enables users to better control the shape and lift characteristics of the air cell, and helps prevent Trek Wings from wrapping around the sides of tanks, when the air cell is used with single cylinders.

Trek Wings are a good choice for divers whose time under water is divided between diving singles and lightweight doubles. They have also proven popular in areas such as Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, where local cave divers want an air cell that is well-matched in size to the double aluminum 80s which are popular in this region, and which does not allow large pockets of air to slosh from side to side, the way larger air cells tend to do. Further, Trek Wings are clearly "the" air cell for side mounting.
